Looks like this is the prototype often seen in JD Follow Cam videos:

I think the speculation was these were Naish prototypes.
Wow neat!
It doesn't quite look like the tiny wings on JD's vids, the handles are different.
Neil, if you can hear this, how about some new foil wings?!?!?

Pretty sure it's the wing that Eric Berg (@mauiwiiing) has been testing for the past year. He rides tiny sizes and makes it look very efficient and nimble.

Upon closer inspection, it would appear that the NP FLY Wing is indeed the prototype featured by Eric in the JD videos!
Very excited about this release!
Perhaps the Pryde people have some new foil wings coming down the pipe as well?!? ??

Info is up on their website. perhaps the Duotone unit finally has some competition. Difficulty will probably be trying to find any NP wings in stock.
any info on pricing? Hopefully they have better stock than the NP HP glide foil wingsets..! (which were badly hit by covid it seems)
That size range is insane! And the wind range and recommended sizing is super interesting. A 2.5m wing in 20-30 is pretty amazing, but it jives with the efficiency I've seen of the prototypes.

Looks really great!
I was out a week or so ago riding at Fort Pierce in Florida with a ton of random wingers from all over the place and it was >90% Duotone 2022 Units (including me), it's remarkable how many they sold
Hopefully other brands can bring competition and bring the overall costs down and quality up

Right, but he has a very unique and mellow style... and I remember asking him once what SPG foil he was riding and it wasn't really small like most other Maui guys. Granted, that changes I'm sure. I think most guys are going to want to go with bigger wings even if they are efficient.
First pricing info. Makes sense.. launch before Xmas, delivery 2-3 months later. I hope this applies to Europe only and not e.g. in Australia, NZ markets
This wing has a huge draft or camber -- lots of power but the negative is that there is the potential for serious back winding; however, the designer is top notch so I do not think this will be an issue. Three important facts about the handles: 1) they are padded, including the "bend", which will protect the board; 2) the handles are longer in the bigger sizes, which should allow the rider more flexibility when it comes to controlling the larger wings; and 3) the front handle looks a lot like the front handle of the Takuma RS, which is another big positive.
I like the idea that there is "twist" built into the wing at the wing tips -- coming from years of windsurfing and using camber induced sails with lots of twist built into the leach I can understand this concept, especially if you wing in really gusty conditions -- it helps any excess wind exhaust thus allowing the sail to feel "light" in big gusts and produce more controlled speed.
NP has been listening -- maybe it's just hype but NP seems to be paying attention to panel layout and where the strength needs to be so that their wings will hold their shape for longer -- it's a hope, anyway.
I sure hope this wing is as good as it looks on paper!
Is there still a link between Pryde and Cabrinha?
I thought they were one and the same ?
Cabrinha Division was completely sold back in 2020, so NP needed a own Wingthing
Pryde realised they not making much money with sails anymore so lets start selling wing .
Pryde use to be the status quo for sails but that is now with Severne.
with size 4 - 4.3 - 4.7- 5-5.4....I really wonder if they know what they are doing!?
Maybe they had a load of stickers left over from The Fly windsurf sails as I think the sizes were same

Probably close to the truth

I find this great to build a quiver

Can you explain what great is on their wing range?
The massive range is probably part of NPs entry strategy as a newcomer into an existing market. They clearly offer new customers lots of choice to fit and squeeze a NP wing into their quiver. After testing the market with V1 they'll probably become more focused in V2 and V3 with less sizes. It's great to have choice as potential customer and I applaud NP for this.

Massive range...... .
What wing will you use when its windy or light wind? There is no 2m, 3m, 6m and 7m wing.
The is range is such a joke.
Seems there is no need for a 7.0. It's great to see both wind and weight ranges to narrow down the choice. Should be a no brainer
Did that guy actually sail Neil Pryde and long lasting in the same sentence? Clearly banking on people who aren't familiar with their sails.
