People who are looking specifically for a North Orbit already know that this is a high performance kite that was designed to: - Boost like very few other kites - Give you insane hang time - Glide further with more stability - Catch you on the way down for those super soft landings. There are only a couple of kites on the market that are in the same league as the Orbit. Very much a proven kite, the two time winner of the RedBull KOTA (King of the Air) and many time winner of the most awesome kite awards. All of the boosting comments aside, its a great kite for all types of Kitesurfing. I use this kite in the waves, on the flat and everything in between. Its the second of five generations. This kite has been such an awesome kite I have not felt the need to upgrade until now. The only reason I am upgrading is because of the new 2024 North branding. They have gone back to the old school North Sails logo. If you are as old as I am and have been around kitesurfing for 20+ years you will know about the North Sails history and what this means to the North faithful. I am very much North faithful so its a no-brainer for me. I am very particular/fussy/anal with my gear. So much so I even lube the zip on the bag so the salt doesn't seize the zippers! Its never had a repair of any kind, never had any issues...... in fact its probably only been dropped in the water a handful of times over the 3 years I have had the kite. Located in Richmond VIC.
