Great to catch up. Fun session, as Paddles said had a bit of everything.
Nice start to the holidays.
Jeff must have needed his beauty sleep after his night shift.
Chores and family stuff tomorrow, so don't think I will be able to sneak out.

Yep sleep catchup......
decided to pack for the lake....

If your packing to go to the lake for a few weeks how much gear do you take????
5 boards 4 booms 6 sails plus masts!!!! Not quite all but it should be sufficient ????

Make that 6 boards. 3 in the car- got to cater for Max's needs!!!

One more nightshift to go..... Jeffrey Point here I come

merry xmas to all my Windsurfing friends

cheers Jeff

Big turnout at Sandstone yesterday. Most of the regulars and a contingent from down south.
think there were 14 on the water? Nice breeze as well.

Where were you Paddles? Are you selling your gear? I will take your NCX's.

Had two light wind day's on the Wally LT. One with the Daughter.
Went alright, but that's my limit so far. Loading the car nearly stuffed me.
Time to get on the bike I recon.
Jealous reading Brad's post, and it look's like too many green arrow's for me coming up too.

Quiet arvo. Went out late....max had homework to do!!
went to Bongaree... flat as,,,,

Dropped into Sandstone to eat Icecream while waiting for wind and tide.

Decided to get wet to keep max company. He was planing all time in light wind with my 8.5 sail.

I got a couple of small runs with 7.5. Spent most of time practicing light wind gybes - Would have been more consistent on light wind gear but it was at home = I need a van!!

Icecream while waiting (iPhone photos always misload!!)

Young and keen!!!

more sailing tomorrow???

cheets Jeff

Very gentle time at sandstone.

Met up with David from RQ as he was keen to try out his new short board.

We we went out hopefully with 9.5 sails used our time to practiced tacks and gybes.

Think I'll take a Wally tomorrow and have a quiet day before it all turns nuclear on Wednesday

cheers Jeff

Sandstone Pt 21.02.19 Pre Cyclone Thursday

Was all good till we ran out of water......anyone got a dredger ???

Oh yeh, and fisherman, please dispose of your Empty Bait Bags in the bin, picked up 3 on the beach and somehow hit an empty Piltchards bag at Mach 1, catching on the Isonic 107s' Fin causing a catapult that nearly knocked me out , saved a turtle - lost some more brain cells !!!!

Friday Day 2 shenanigans at the Point 22.02.19

Someone really needs to tell the guy standing around in the middle of the bay, that the pub is around the corner

And yes JV I did see that catapult at the end of the day .... glad I'm not the only one

Hey BJ
Thanks for the photos..
But you missed the catapult today .
Trying to jump.
Nah not on an overpowered speed run after you left.
Didn t hit bottom either this time.
Thankfully
That woulda really hurt.

The wreck was at its best yesterday with only myself kiting and another poley having the place to ourselves. Started out 25 - 30 but by 4pm was getting up around 40 in the gusts and the 4.0 meter the poley was using was just too big. Hope the photos show it but some of the rollers coming down the channel were well over head high and the tops blowing off. Not sure why nobody was out as the conditions for this weekend are ideal for the swells with a reasonable good out going current. We have our very own Hood River conditions and I think one of the best spots around.
Should be good again today.

That was me on the 4.0m. Yes it is a great spot and conditions yesterday were fantastic. Best high wind sail I've had in last 5 years.

Hi Jaclyn,
Can sort you out properly. Accredited experience. One on one time, and most of the day per session for a fraction of the cost.
Everything supplied. Simulator for on land instruction.
I sent you a PM and replied on the other thread.
Cheers
Darren.
