Hi all, am trying to find a copy of guy cribb DVD core skills and gybe technique. It's 2020 so I would prefer a stream or download option but beggars can't be choosers.... any suggestions, or gybe technique instructional video that's as good? Cheers all
matt
Dasher's 12 Step Jibe has been the gold standard for quite a while:
Yep. I've got both. Dashers is long but I picked up some great tips.
Thanks. This looks good. Still keen to get my hands on intuition so any steer there would be most welcome

It says the website isn't secure but that can just mean they haven't bothered getting a SSL certificate. I just googled guy Cribb gybing DVD..
Here's another-

Thanks for bringing this up Gnotukker. I too am looking for this video. I love Guy's teaching approach and would certainly like to get my hands on this DVD. Can't seem to find anything online. PM me if you ever find something available...
Peter Hart, Jem Hall, Dasher, Whippy Dixon, Sam Ross..... all put together great videos. There's just something about Guy's techniques that hit home for me. Good luck!

I have Guy Cribb's video and it's good but all you really need to know is:
Start with the step gybe (as Cribb Says)
Back arm back
Flexible knees
Flip the rig much earlier than you think you should (this is the most important thing)
Keep your head (and your eyes) up
Be aggressive
Practise a lot
You can see these aspects presented in almost all of the gybing videos on youtube.
Dasher's 12 Step Jibe has been the gold standard for quite a while:
I second that dashers 12 step is the best I've seen

I like this video too (and Dasher's waterstart video is the best), but jeez, 12 steps... It's a gybe, not a space launch.
