Hello, my nose protector is lifting off and would like a recommendation for a type of glue to fix this. It was originally glued with contact cement strip. Part of the problem is the shape of protector, its stiffness, and the curve of the board (the protector extends over the rounded rail so there's a gap there).

Two glues that I think could work are silicon caulk and polyurethane construction adhesive.

Any suggestions?

yup, second contact cement, Loctite spray contact cement medium grip or maybe high grip, or you could use Weldwood contact cement, much stronger and may not get it off if you decide to removed nose guard. Do not try to glue to curved edge, just flat surface up to where edge starts to curve.

I just bought a square meter of EVA foam 12mm thick for $20 delivered (foam was $6). I've already got contact cement so I'll be cutting my own 2x layer nose guard this weekend! Thanks VFM Group.
