Hey Everyone,

It's been a while since I have been on and surfing has taken a backseat to fishing over the warmer months. But, as the weather cools, the swell rolls in and the offshore winds get more consistent as does my surfing. I look forward to more surfing and the yearly new board. I've come to realise I have a strong preference for smaller waves rom 2-4ft. And subsequently I want a board that suits. As the title suggests I have a firewire glazer in my mind low rocker. Single to double concave and also short length for appropriate volume. I'm 6'1 and 95kg and dropping, reasonable fit and improving in that department and 26 years old. I traditionally surf 35L but have been thinking of bumping it up a smidge for pure enjoyment. I'm considering the 5'9 - 37L or the 5'10 38.9L or a mini simmons.

Has anyone surfed a glazer? If so have you got any feedback? Or has anyone else got any suggestion. I currently have an El Tomo Fish, Lost v2 shortboard, a puddle jumper, and a 7'0 cupboard.

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers,
Mitch

Surfing out of Torquay. Both beach and points like Jan Juc, Winki, Pt Impossible, Cathedral Rocks. Nothing incredibly critical

A few guys around my local are riding Glazers (a couple of them can surf) and say they like them comments are they are fast, I felt one the other day it was light, wide and thick bit like a lot of boards these days.

If I had a spare $1K I'd likely try one.

Look up Woolly TV utube, Woolly (local) tries one out I think he said he liked it.
