1st surf in a month 2 days ago , second yesterday , third today - have decided no surfing for 6-12 months for me is not sustainable , what is sustainable is me riding 5 minutes to the beach behind us , surfing for an hour , then straight back home again .
So far have shared my 3 surfs with one other - a dead wallaby on the beach - at this stage he is showing no signs of corona .

Seven Mile session this morning. Long right peelers for nose riding. The dolphins turned up with light glassy conditions. Only the locals and we kept our distance. Next week will be interesting but the caravan parks are shut including the onsite holiday vans.

So glad I don't live in a populated area.

Called into work last night lucky for me scored the reef break cross the road -100 meters long shoulder high rides along the side of the reef . Had it all to myself - snow scuds rolling through tend to thin the crowd .

Water temp still not too bad Bazz ( think it's about 15 ) though the wind chill is a bit of a prick you do get acclimatised to it . Rather be out in the snow atm then on those packed Gold Coast beaches not knowing if the bloke beside you has corona or not

question - can you post videos up on Seabreeze from the I- pad

You can't be too careful. Chuck him in the boot and take him to get tested before you eat him.

Valiant station wagon in front of us pulled up and threw it in the back - tea for the night

France over 100,000 infected, deaths over 10,000

Germany over 100,000 infected, deaths just over 2,000

So what is the difference in social control policy between them?

BTW no surf

Locals only surf at 7mile. Pretty small and slim pickings. Overcast at dawn.

I must say it was cold. I had fully dried my wetsuit but as soon as I got in water leaked in everywhere.

I worked yesterday about 50km down the coast. I was surprised at how little traffic was on the highway on the way home. No caravans, no boats and no farkin jet skis. The threat of $1000 dollar fines has worked.

We are expecting large surf on Sunday?

Also spoke to a print shop owner about stickers for our cars.

No surf today

Solid westerlies it's now the Tasman swimming pool. Saw some desperados at Bombo when I dropped some essentials at my daughters place dads at sea and she's got two ankle biters to look after. NO HUGS FROM MY GRANDKIDS cause it's against the rules.

I hope we get a handle on this soon.
