Hi, experienced kitefoiler, new wing foiler and some flat water SUP paddling experience would like to add SUP foilboard for light wind days. 70 kg, using Armstrong 2400 and 1600 foils. SUP board would be mostly for small waves and maybe in the future, downwinding. Considering Naish 6"/110L or 6'5"/125L), used ONE 6'8"/108L or something similar from Blue Planet. I am in North America. Though I am on the light side, my paddling stroke needs a lot of work to try and catch waves and therefore thinking a longer board. Thanks for your input

My opinion....

At your weight, the Naish 6' 110L will allow you to wing and SUP foil. They are a nice board but may become hard to find.
I think the 125L has too much volume for you and the 6'8" will be too long once you sort out your carving turns on the wing.

If you can get ONE then try and find a 5'10 x 27.5 x 107L, this is a great board for what you are looking for and at 70kg you should not have to much worry getting your balance going. It will definitely make a great wing board and is sick for Downwind when you progress to this. Weight wise very light and crazy strong!!

Go as smaller than you think! At 70kg I'd be looking for something under 6' and 95-110ltrs. That will get you through the learning cycle AND into more performance. Boards are about to get very short, and very volume-y. Have fun!

I appreciate all the recommendations. I have a nagging concern that I will have trouble paddling a board 6' or less well enough to catch a wave. Wouldn't longer be easier?

See if you can borrow a few and give them a test.

The 110l x sub 6ft boards and smaller are excellent for advanced paddling technique skilled guys.
If you do not have this level of paddling skill go for a longer more stable board, e.g. similar to Naish 125 l x 6ft 5in.
