There's been a rise on the number of complaints from the general public and swimmers about kitesurfers in ningaloo lately
The complaints made this weekend about kitesurfers going through a swimming zone near osprey within metres of unaware snorkellers 20-50m from shore involved a few 'best roca' and 'eleveight' brands .
Please note ..you idiots are going to get kitesurfing banned and ruin it for people that were there more than ten years before .have you not got the brains to realise that there are potentially snorkellers there ??
The downwind this weekend was performed by a pack from the new 'shop' who seems only interested in selling things but doesn't care less about the damage caused by the people he has put on the water
Best roco ?..and eleveight is sold by this shop so for sure they were a group of the new breed of 'students'
On a side note ..and better note..
..the ones who downwinded a few weeks ago in the same area through osprey were probably perth based and more mature
and experienced..
Thankyou for being decent and giving a wide birth and being at least 200m from the shore and not causing alarm to camp hosts or unaware snorkellers.

This particular group this weekend you idiots ! Do not ruin it for everyone else...other people were doing that run more than ten years ago when there were only a few kites about here . I see idiots like you in packs every year fk# it up for other people by doing things like this!

That means you are responsible for it..
Talk to the camp host .
3 people have done written complaints who were at osprey yesterday which involved the ranger dpt conservation etc
They were #your# kites that you sold

Over the years I've found the kiting community very accommodating to other users of Ningaloo and super attuned to the values and needs of its sensitive environment; I can't say that of all the user types who visit Ningaloo. This season I've seen repeated boat fishing in sanctuary zones, rec fishoes casting at other water users, driving on beaches that are closed to the public, poor rubbish and poo disposal, walking on sensitive areas, spot lighting of nesting turtles and plenty more. None of those transgressions are attributable to the businesses that supply those users or their lobby groups, on occasion they've warranted a chat with the users concerned and it's always ended amicably with the desired constructive outcome.

Not sure about St Kilda or wherever you are but up here we use solar showers
Doesn't sound like you could handle more than 3days in a national park 
It's not the camp hosts fault they are just passing messages from customers and swimmers who suddenly have a load of boards going close to them .....
