Anyone has any info on the progress?
First there were delays with permits, and then the whole thing was postponed... but now they hasn't been much info posted for a while.
If you have Bookface you can search for them and keep updated... its looking awesome by the way
Dont want to be cynical but me thinks they need a bit of government funding and the Andrews Government aint spending money ATM.
Its a bad thing because when its not windy it would be awesome.... BUT putting right next to a sewerage plant not really sensible.
I think it would be better down Torquay way or near Adventure Park in Geelong... Just being selfish wanting it closer to me.

Yeh, that's the vibe i got. Which is why it would be good to know what's going on... is it the local government/councils making it difficult... or are there other forces at play...

Yeah I doubt it. Sounds like a long shot at this stage. If they were keen, they need to get on with it now so they can open for summer.

Of course they are keen! Who wouldn't be.
Obviously $$ and negotiations would most likely be the reason why nothing's been done yet.
We've tried all this with the Altona lake area hosting a 2 way cable system. KSS went to meetings, I went to meet the Mayor, etc... yeah it all sounds great on paper... but when it comes to the spending side of things - it's enjoy the silence moment. 
The only way it will happen is for a cashed up investor, developer or family to just give it a go!
Cairns Cable Park started like that and it's been a successful business for years now. Same lady runs the shop with her sons and family in tow (pun unintended)

So at Patterson river where the ski ramp, drag boat racing happens (or not), last time I was there saw a bunch of old blokes racing remote controlled yachts seems to be the only action happening there these days.
Otherwise ideal spot for a cable park, some infrastructure already there (and not far from me!)
I'm not hundred percent but I think it's more aim at the election and trying to get people to vote in favour of the party that has promised money for infrastructure ??

I was at the site yesterday and ground works are well under way all going to plan there may be some cable spinning around Christmas
