Correct me if Im blind but im certain there is a 'no dog' sign at Inverloch (not even on a leash) in the summer. I love dogs, but my issue is the dogs also seem particularly intrigued by my kite (as a beginner its generally flying close to their heads on its descent out of the sky).

I had a dog this morning take a growl (like they do to car tyres) around my kite while i was relaunching and the owner thought it was funny! I asked him to get his dog away from my kite and he told me "shes right!"

Well i felt like screaming "It won't be right when there is a hole in my kite!!!!"

Grrrrrr anyway.

Rant over! (This seemed like the place, hahaha

dog owners are usually responsible people, but a certain proportion, say, 99% of them are not and also think their dogs are as harmless as a teddy bear.

I have been bitten once while holding my kite up. Now if I see dogs approaching I wait until they go, launch, then play with them as they fruitlessly chase the kite around.

Don't hate dogs, just hate their owners
