Mentone was good too. Slightly smaller waves though.

Looks good!

Conditions were sweet as further up at Pt Impossible too.
Hopefully the forecast holds up for the coming Sunday. Can't wait.

Saturday was epic and PD... I have never seen so may kites up. the Kite surfing was very good . The pivot kite on a north board was on fire and the kiter using a Tomo board also. anyone out there took pictures?

looks like the unmistakable bells bowl to me ... why would anyone paddle out at PD in those onshore condx

Pics are awesome, I've been riding a directional in the bay and are ready for some real waves.

Any suggestions of a location for an intro to smaller waves, not ready for the above yet...

Would prefer the East coast line Pt leo of Phillip Island way but can drive to the West if needed.

If you are coming West then RAAFS beach (end of Ocean Grove beach near Barwon Heads bridge) is a good place to start. South to South East is best South West is OK, West is gusty, North is offshore.

I would leave 13th and the other big Western surf beaches alone until you get your wave wings. Danger can be OK but with a sketchy launch and some aggro locals .
