Hi Tas kiters,

Wondering if anyone will be kiting in the Stanley area 7 to 9 March. Or can anyone share where to kite and if there are any safety concerns. I see some wind in the next 3 days and I brought a 14 and 9 with me, looks like 14m might work out. Preference is flat water riding.

I have vehicle and gear so can easily drive anywhere.

Tks for any advise,

Chad

The east inlet can be good for speed channels. There is a rigging area 1/2 way from the highway turnoff before stanley.
The waters around stanley are also good. The beach off the caravan park can be good, but very small amount of rigging area in a high tide.

If you are after world class waves marrawah is the place to go, but you need the right comditions.

All along the north coast is good, it gets gusty if there is southerly in it.
