I went to essaouira kiting in their summer..was windy as f*&^....

The spot in the video looks like the area around Tagazhout. Went down there to check it out but in their summer there is no surf in that area. Definitely some amazing setups along that coast and I'd be keen to check it out in winter when there is swell.

Been to Dakhla but not for surfing. The surf spot isn't in the main bay. Nice spot with seemingly consistent wind although I've seen adverts now for foiling clinics there so I assume they must have an off season.

Careful choice of hotel can pay dividends to your fun as some have a looooooooong walk to the water at low tide and it can be tricky to find space with all the learners close to shore in the flatter water. I found a hotel where they had bought the upwind land which gave a big area of fairly uncluttered water to kite in without lots of schools. There are even a few sand bars to ride over.
