You may have a twist in your bladder, giving your kite LE an slight twist when inflated. Take your bladder out, stick it in a plastic bag, add some talcum powder, shake it around to cover the bladder, and feed it back in again. If you haven't worked on a bladder before just Youtube some clips to try and minimise work for yourself.

Good luck.

What type of Kite?
What size?
Is it new or 2nd Hand?
has it had any repairs.

Did it just start doing it, did you have any bad crashes, or did it go down in the surf?

You are not giving much to work with....

If it gets a decent tank-slapping when it has been crashed hard this can affect the bladder. Have seen it happen on a mates kite, he couldn't understand its slight pull to one side. Got kite repairer onto it and realigned twisted bladder....all good. Cost you nothing, 2 - beer job to pull out the bladder.

Do yourself a favour and simply pump it up and leave it on the beach.. Come back a few minutes later. It should self destruct and blow to bits. Then simply buy yourself a good kite.
That's my best advice.
Good luck.

Yep

2 locals have had switchblades brand new quivers , passed them to me to see what I thought, f.....g bizarre , to make it balanced we had it on middle pigtail on left and end on the right, I found an article on this and sent it to him, I'll see if I can dig it out, he ended up trading them for drifters , other has since traded also

Had the same problem with a S/H 2014 swictchy, apparently a problem with the leading edge not sitting flat due to colours used in the L/E material (so they tell me). My local dealer sorted it out. Cab refunded the money I paid for the S/H kite as a shop credit for a new kite.

Also had the same prob with a S/H 2015 9m drifter I bought fron a cab dealer in Qld. The qld dealer basically told me to go jump, My local shop sorted it out with cab and the money I paid for the S/H kite was put towards a new one. But I still had to shell out money for the new one.

Not much I can find on the forums about this, but is a known problem with 2014/15 kites and nothing to do with the bladder. Best bet to take to a cab dealer (maybe not the qld one), they might get it sorted for you under warranty, but you're a few years out now...

That's the article I was trying to find, bit of a weird result that was found to cause the issue, plenty of evidence on kitforum with others having identical issues and all pulling to the right, was a real pain needing constant correction whilst flying,
The end result seems to be misshaped le,
easy way to check is to fully inflate on a very flat surface( garage/ driveway slab
flip over onto Le, get hold of pump leash point, drag kite towards you approx 1/2 mtrs
walk around the back of kite and look for gaps between Le and floor

Had Pivot 8 pulling to the left (brand new). Got a replacement eventually but it took nearly two months from memory. It was off season so I could afford to wait.

Pull the bladder out & check for any repairs then re-insert.. if that doesnt work, set it on fire in case your Curse spreads to other kites

Yeah that's right the shop had to take photos of the kite to send to cab and you need a dead flat floor as the gaps are hard to see. Post if you find the article.

Oh and the shop (sorry... seabreeze sponsor) that fobbed me off was one in sunshine coast.

I had a similar problem with a F -One kite. My kite was dangerous to fly.
Tried altering line / pig tail lengths.
Pulled the bladder out and talc it up and reinstalled.
Nothing seem to fix it.
I finally found out what was wrong with it by shear luck.

Take inside a shed where its not affected by wind.
Pump it up as per normal and watch the wing tips.
The tips should raise equally, if not there is a twist in the frame work.

Sent it way to F-one and they admitted that the frame had issues but said it was out of warranty. Thanks for nothing!!!
