Dont put in on a board you plan to use for surfing as well. I keep kicking/tripping on my toe every time I get up....

Try Hexatraction, excellent stuff for surfing. Not sure how it go on a kite board, but for surfing its better than wax imo.

I don't think so, the seller that I bought mine from on eBay is gone.
I have 2 sheets left, might give it another go since daddy has had no issues.

Don't have first hand knowledge, but apparently they have sent some boards to Aus. So can't imagine it'll be a issue. (Using a forwarding address in USA is cheap in anycase)

First hand experience with the grip from
Spacesticklab.com

It is unreal !!
Works great and no peeling after a year
Doesn't rash your chest paddling
Grippy like wax and I forget it's there
Even better with booties on

Haven't used wax all year.
Have that grip on 4 boards now
Ships pretty fast from USA

Best kite surfboard deck grip I've seen and tried was on the F-One Mitu boards. I'm not a fan of the board itself but the deck grip... thicker than usual, soft. Like plush carpet. Raised toe ridge at the front was a nice touch too.

Not sure where you could buy it here though.

It's not the grip itself, they have another layer of something underneath the grip that makes it super comfy. I discovered this while doing a repair on one. Makes it a pricks to repair too.....

Why do I think you could sell it to us?

Just purchased some hexagonal deck grip from the surfboard warehouse which had 20 hexagons in one packet. It was $58 delivered and was enough to cover my Nugget.

Will report back after a few kites.

I have tried nearly all the grips mentioned above. If it's a paddle kite board; the sanctum is good value and suitable to lay and paddle. About 2mm thick. I use it on my prone paddle foil boards. The hexagonal (about 1mm ) is good if you don't want to cover up logos; but Isn't the same as spongy grip. I use it in nose areas of boards or where I grab rails. The eBay sheets at
3-5mm ( I like cut not moulded) are the cheapest solution. The best grip I've tried for kiting only and not paddling is the WMFG but it is expensive. I use a regular matching pattern short board tail grip and just buy a front WMFG.

Thats got a nice feel under foot, but it is very heavy compared to EVA sheets. I would not buy it again. I've used the Hex-a-traction and like it a lot for kite surfboards for the area in between my front and rear pads.

Used this on 2 boards 3 years ago. Super grippy, strong bond, and they are a bit thicker than the usual deck grips so they absorb impacts well. They didnt absorb water at all and didn't get slippery after extended use. I'm buying these again for my next board.

Bit redundant calling ya shop SUP WAREHOUSE because you need a bloody warehouse to fit those stupid big things inside. Pretty sure kamikuza lives in a warehouse.

Some good options there. No storefront options where I live so I searched a far bit on the interwebs and wasn't really able to find what I was after. Settled on the stuff I got. If I'd know about the grip paul.j has, probably would have gone with that.

Still yet to test mine, maybe latter in the week.

I'm trying these hex pieces on my hydrofoil:
www.waal.co/

They are cheaper than the other brand but still seem to be the same type of thing. No cushioning whatsoever if that makes a difference but seem alright so far.

I've tried a lot of grips and I still think the Octopus grips are the best (if you surf and kite), they are pricey though certainly making their mark up.
