Hi I am interested in the cabrinha double agent board as an all round free ride board. I am going to be using it with my spitfire foil and possibly other foils down the track. The 145 seems like a good size for me as I am 100kg and I would like something with a good amount of surface area. Also I will be riding strapless so a low volume board would be easier i guess. The ability to use it without the foil is definitely a bonus and it seems like it could be a fun board for some wind chop free riding or even strapped jumping but this is not the deciding factor.
I am wondering if the board has enough stiffness and it won't sag or flex too much around the foil mount.
Would anyone like to share there experience with this board in regards to strength, stiffness and performance as a foil board or surf skim?
Cheers

Hi mate, I don't have experience with the double agent but I have ridden similar boards (same construction) from 2 other brands. Both were heavy (around 4.5kg) and have only one mounting position. One of them had fin mounts for use in the surf and I found it was a pig to ride. The good thing about these though is that they are bullet proof.
I find it odd that Cabrinha does not mention the weight in the specs as I reckon it is an important factor. Most riders will tell you that once they've tried a lighter board, they won't be going back to a brick of a board.... Just look at the crew riding the small Kanaha that weight less than 2kg...
The strapless boards tend to be less than 130 and around 42-46wide with low volume, and that's the same for heavier riders.
You are welcome to borrow my 120x44 and try with the spitfire as this is the board I was using when I had this foil.
Cheers,
Thanks livit I definitely wouldn't turn down a chance to ride one of your beautiful hand crafted boards, I will message you
Consider the Cabrinha X-Breed. I have one and very happy with it.
