Your problem stems from the taper fit between the mast and fuselage, tightening just the screws doesn't bed the taper enough when assembling before use. Once your on the water the slight movement of the joint plus water lubrication allows the joint to bed slightly more, the torque comes off the screws, normally the front one and you find it loose when you come back in.

Some use a small rubber mallet when assembling to really bed the joint. Had a mate who took an Allen key with him to give the front screw a nip after a few runs. I coat the joint with grease, this allows the taper to bed much better during assembly and I rarely get a loose screw, also prevents corrosion.

Loctite will work fine but won't actually prevent the joint from bedding more during the first few runs, but it will stop the screw from actually falling out. Blue loctite is the one to use, 242 or 243.
