One of the things that come along with the job of a media hunter, is travelling, lots and lots of travelling. At this time of year us Aussies are heading overseas for our kiting fix, who what better time to share some of Jakes tips to travelling in style! Published on his personal blog this week, Jake has 12 great travel tips that will make you look like a pro when you get to the check in desk.
“Talk to the Locals: The best way to learn about anywhere is to interact with the locals. If the spot has a kite school, that’s probably the best place to go and introduce yourself as a traveling kiter. Most locals are friendly and will be willing to have a quick chat with you to tell you all about their amazing country. But I must warn you, it may lead to some special sessions, BBQ’s, crazy nights out and a bunch of new friends.”
