Kind of Normal: Keahi's Biography

Can you guess who the other two are?
He was once called the super grom from Noosa. Now he's just Keahi. A household name in in not only the kiteboarding world, but the stand up paddling world too; this is the story of how he grew up and became one of the greatest kitesurfers in the world.

It all began in Noosa, well, perhaps it began in Hawaii where his parents met, but Keahi started surfing in Noosa when he was 6 or 7; Progressed into kiteboarding as it all started in 2001, and grew into the world champ he is today. Along the way, he kited in some incredible conditions, played a few shenenaigans with his mates and has probably tucked into more barrels than anyone else on a kite. Now he's back from injury, and chapter 3 is about to begin.

Chapters one and two aren't too shabby though, as you can see in this short biography about his roots, his surfing and his memories with Pete Cabrinha. Watch 'Kind of Normal' with Keahi De Aboitiz below.
