Hadlows going for six (world kiteboarding titles)

Hadlow busting a 'Tack Flip'.
He sat out of the PKRA World freestyle kiteboarding tour for a couple of seasons with a knee injury, and he returned in Morocco to place third in his comeback performance. This year, Hadlow wants the title, he wants number six, and if he continues riding like he has been in training, he just might get it.

Training in South Africa a yearly occurance for Aaron Hadlow, choosing to spend the UK’s winters in SA for some warm weather and clockwork wind. He’s done it that way for years, in fact that’s one of the key contributors to his five world freestyle titles back in the late 2000’s, before his ‘retirement’ from the world tour in 2010. What better way to stage a comeback to the world of professional kiteboarding than to retrace his steps, spending the 2015 off-season in Cape Town, South Africa once again.

If this clip is anything to go by, Hadlow is on his way to first place in this years VKWC (Virgin Kiteboarding World Championship, the new PKRA). He’s busting out some of the smoothest 720’s you’ll see in the sport, and even perfected the newly dubbed ‘Tack Flip’, which is all the rage right now. Combine all that with some drone footage (despite them trying to pass if off as helicopter footage with some sound effects!), pretty beaches and glory shots of the new North gear – consider this 5 minutes well spent.
